Day 8 : 9/28/01 

Well today the weather was supposed to be real bad from our starting point to our destination. So, nothing to do here, nothing to do there... we just slept like lazy bums with no hope for what's going to be a driving, boring dead day.

We finaly woke up to discover ... the sky was blue and the sun shining!!!! Thank you Mr Weather forecast!!

So we drove 100 miles back to go and see the famous Mt Rainier we couldn't see and arrived just when a few clouds were showing up! We did a 3 hours hike to try to see it closer but then there was more and more clouds. The hike was not that much interesting as you kind of have the same view at the top and at the bottom. But anyway we were glad that we could finally see it.

So tonight back to Yacutica or what ever the name of that town is and as the Motel 6 was all booked we ended up in this Motel where you can't even connect to the internet! Well you can but it took us 15mns to figure it out and I'm the only one that can. David can't. Basicaly their phone server is too old and doesn't really support modem dialing that fast! Peeeoooppplllee aaarrre sslloooww tooo iiinnn tttthhhiiisss ppplllaaacceeee. Anyway!
