Day 3 : 9/23/01 

2nd day at lassen volcanic park. We went to Bumpass Hell and then went down to Cold boiling lake. It wasn't really boiling very much. It took about 3 hours.

The view were very nice but bumpass hell really stinked.

On the way up, David drove over a nice cute little animal... He is a assasin now!

Anyway, we stopped at Yreka for dinner. Nice little town on the boarder of the hway. As we decided we were fed up with restaurant chains, we tried a local one.

Very interesting... food was good, we had a filet mignon for cheap (all is relative actually) and it was real good! I even got it rare... But the restaurant was ... well how to say that... a great concentration of bad taste as far as decoration and clothes were concerned. You had in a square foot as much bad taste you can find usually in a whole house, the carpet was marron ugly and all these little decoration stuff were filling the place up. You couldn't add one more even if you wanted.

Anyway we managed to make it to Medford for the night.
